Pearlstone helps to create 'flexibility' within the UK energy grid, which supports a future where all energy sources will be sustainable, carbon neutral, and renewable.
We believe the cleanest and greenest energy is the energy not used. For this reason, we are passionate about Demand Side Response (DSR) and its impact on the energy landscape in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions...
What are the benefits of becoming a Pearlstone shareholder?
By becoming a Pearlstone shareholder, you are supporting a business focused on making the energy industry greener and more sustainable and stable.
With your investment, Pearlstone can grow, and ensure greater flexibility in the UK's energy system. This will mean more renewable energy can be safely introduced without fear of demand outstripping supply leading to potential blackouts.
Pearlstone will also make further investments in developing its proprietary technology, the Virtual Integrated Buildng (ViB) so that it may offer its customers the best possible service and participation in future National Grid Ancillary schemes.
As an investor you will also benefit financially if the business continues to grow and is successful in achieving an exit on behalf of its shareholders.
What are the main risks of investing in shares?
Investments in growth stage businesses carry risks to your capital. The value of shares will inherently rise and fall with the success or failure of the company. If the business fails completely you will lose all of your investment.
It may also be true that shares held in privately owned companies are more difficult to sell. You should be prepared to hold your shares for the long-term.
More information about the risks involved can be found on the Crowdcube portal.
Who are Crowdcube and how do I invest?
Crowdcube is a leading equity investment and crowdfunding organisation in the UK and across Europe.
Pearlstone has partnered with Crowdcube to offer its shares. To become a shareholder in Pearlstone you must open an account with Crowdcube and commit your investment on the Crowdcube portal.
Your investment will be administered and held through your Crowdcube account.
What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding allows everyone the opportunity to invest in businesses close to their interests. Opportunities that only seasoned investors would typically have access to.
It allows people with strong interests the opportunity to support businesses that are true to these interests and bring about change that is meaningful to them.
Crowdfunding allows business access to a greater number of passionate investors to help the business grow.
When will your crowdfunding campaign go live?
Our campaign will be exclusively available to those who pre-register on this page first. This 'private' campaign will continue for seven days before opening to the public thereafter.
Will I be able to sell my shares?
Once you become a shareholder there are a number of options open to you as an investor to 'exit'. If Pearlstone continues to grow, these options are as follows:
- If the company embarks on an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on a stock exchange.
- If the business is bought by another company.
- If the company offers to buy back your shares.
Currently, shares bought the Crowdcube platform are not available on a secondary market.
When will the round close?
Once the campaign opens it will continue for no more than 30 days, or whenever the target is reached. If the target fund is reached before the 30 days are up, we will issue a 24hr warning those who have registered their interest on this site.
Please note, there is a limited amount of equity available in this round to fill quickly therefore we encourage you to pledge your commitment as soon as the round opens.
